Up Down All Around

Since the year of 2007, my best friend Jenny and I have this tradition of going to World of Fun every July 4 because that the only day off I have. I always ask myself since I'm afraid of high why would I go on these rides. I not know the answer, but whenever I ride it with Jenny I'm not that afraid anymore. She loved the ride. She can ride over and over again if she can.
You have to wait in line, but at the end it worth it.
These rides might seem scary, but it was fun.

World of Fun is amazing place for the rides and food. It's located on the Missouri side, the address is

My Moving Lifestyle

I had been moving around a lot, because of family business problem. In my memory, I believe I moved to a least 4 elementary school, 3 middle school, and 3 different high school. I always tells myself that I'm used to moving and I not mind, but inside of me I know I hate to move especially when I met my new friends who like me as much as I like them. Each location I moved to; I know that I shouldn't put on high hope on staying very long. As I grow older, my parent finally decided they want to stabilize in one location till my brother and I graduate from high school. I just graduate last year, as for my brother; he is graduating this May. I been very excited attending JCCC because I really like the classes and professor. After, JCCC I will start my moving life again as for my parent they say they always will support my choices in life. Some days in my future life I would really like to live in a really home and stay there for long period of time. I been living in an apartment most of my life so I never to experience what like having your own home? I always told myself that in my future I would provided a better living style for my family so that therefore we won’t need to move around so much. These moving experiences make me become more mature and understand that how hard is to raise a family.

Chinese New Year (2011)

This year I realized it the year of rabbit, which is not me, but is my cousin Sebastian. I can't wait for this Chinese New Year party because most of my relatives will be there. I have two cousins who came to America from China. Therefore I can't wait to show them how fun to have family around. Just like every year I wear something red to bring the spirit of New Year. I painted my nail red, red t-shirt, and a red sock. As I show my relatives I say to them "Happy Chinese New Year" and something else that mean lucky. Even though I might seem too old for getting red envelope, but I still get them anyway. My cousin told me I can still get them if I'm not married. That night was amazing we each have our own table and I took a lot of photos with my cousin camera. We tell story how that in China, this holiday is a such a big deal it considered Christmas day for them because people back there get at least two weeks off for the holiday. They would have firework, big festival, and many performances going on. Someday I told myself I will go back to China when it Chinese New Year so I can experience what is it like. I believe this year of rabbit would bring many luck for everyone. It’s my tradition that most of family gather around on this holiday because family is everything to me.

My English Expectation

In my Composition 1 class I always afraid to behind with things. As a Freshman I might not fully prepared my life for college. I never thought that I’m already heading to college so soon. I guess as people say time always goes by fast. My expectation for this class is that to improve my English to a higher level also to upgrade my grammars which need a lot of practice with. This writing can challenge me to write something.  I would never write or do something unique that I never done before. I know that if I want to successfully pass this class I need to put in my effort. Even though I'm not a good writer, but at least I know I work my best. I will work on improving my writing skills as also for other things to be improved. I can’t wait to see what going to happen next in class and what interesting things are we going to write about. I believe this class can help me start to like writing and inspire me to write beyond my imagination. By the end of this course I will at least write a good paper that reflects what I learned in this class with Professor Dixon.

• I used to have over 25 goldfishes, but all them is dead because I over feed them.

V-Day huh?

Happy Valentine Day! Yeah well, it’s not so happy for all the single people out there. Not only it expensive to celebrate this holiday, but it meaningless also because everyday should be couple Valentine day. People not need some special day to be ripped off with expensive chocolate and roses. Love is special so it not needs to be celebrated every February 14th. I heard this holiday as considered a Friendship day which I thought was really interesting. I always am wondering what kinds of people created this holiday. As I work on that day, I never thought people really care for this holiday. There are still many people still willing to spend lots of money buying gift, flower, and going out to eat. V-Day is a day of letting your lover knows that you love them. It a holiday that will never change it will always be on February 14. The day that is full with love. I think this holiday is very unique in its own ways because now it known worldwide that February 14 is a Valentine Day. On news I see several proposals happen on this day or even marriage on this day to make it extra special. Therefore this holiday bring much memory to others.

Literacy Narrative Review

Literacy can be defined as knowing how to read and write, but also that having the knowledge to know things. Not everyone can be literacy who can read and write. Even though many people can read and write, but they not have the literacy knowledge. The way I become a Literary person is through Television and my elementary ESL teacher who taught me the basic grammar, because my parent can't speak English and I still have to balance my Chinese with my parent. I can speak two language, but can fully read in Chinese. So anyone can be Literacy if you know how to read and write.
